Lagos Continues Rural Electrification In Ikorodu

Residents in one of the benefitting communities in Ikorodu with the transformer donated to them by the Office of the Rural Development, Lagos State


‎The Lagos State Government, on Monday, continued its rural electrification initiative through the Office of Rural Development, by supplying transformers and electricity poles across communities in lkorodu division.


‎Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, said in a statement today.


‎”The administration of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has delivered and installed brand new transformers in Omigo CDA Phase One and Omigo Onafoniyin Phase Two (Isiu, Ikorodu North LCDA), Banana Estate Igbe Lara CDA Phase One, and Pace Setter CDA in Ibeshe, Igbogbo Bayeku LCDA.



‎”The two transformers installed in Isiu will serve 10 communities, while 10 electricity poles were also provided in Banana Estate Igbe Lara CDA to support power connection.


‎”Through the THEMES Plus Agenda, the Lagos State Government continues to bring the dividends of democracy to rural communities”, Dr. Agbaje said.
